Billy, you plan on running both Gas City and Putnamville with new team like the last couple of years or picking and choosing where ya go??

Direct quote from Roger Tapy owner, R&B Racing LLC, and Truckers's 24 HR Road Service

Thomas was discharged from the Trucker's Team on 10-08-08.

Roger states, " It was for inappropriate behavior" from a driver that reflects the integrity of Trucker's 24 HR and his sponsors".

Roger also states, " he has been very proud of T-Mez, he has been getting better and better each week and was waiting for his first win with the team."

Thomas has admitted that he made a very poor personal decision that reflects back to the moral issues implemented by Roger and Barb Tapy as owners. His actions could have easily harmed the Team's name as well as sponsors involved.

"Moral issues in the racing community mean alot to owners, sponsors, and the fans. Right is right, wrong is wrong", Roger states.

Roger, Barb and the Trucker's Team wishes T-Mez the best of luck.

Cindi, thanks for clearing this up for everyone. As I know you cannot speak about the details does anyone care to speculate what exactly T-Mez has done?

I hope he finds a ride as I find him entertaining to watch. He had a very good car at Tri State and I thought he could of took home the cash had it not been for a couple mistakes.

I wish Roger and Barb all te best and hope they have found their drivers in Scotty Weir and Daren Hagen.

Hagen is very entertaining to say the least!

Jason is it really anyone elses business what he did to lose the ride. I think inviting speculation on the issue is the worst thing you could do. It is a private issue between T-Mez and the Tapy's. Let's leave it at that

I was just making an observation. Nothing was said about kissing a**.

Also , I was not discounting your success on the track. You are a proven winner, and always a threat to win. The Truckers team is a solid outfit that would put you at some of the bigger races that we haven't seen you at. As a fan of the sport, I wish you the best in 2009.

Now does anyone know if Hagen and Weir are signed for next year? And if not, who would you like to see given the break?

The Tapy's just made the private matter very public by posting that message on here. A simple announcement of parting ways would not have invited speculation...

Does anyone know if this team is coming out west for Perris and Manzy?

And so that gives you the right to know or make wild speculations that could hurt someones reputation??? Sorry I dont buy that and I doubt they do either. I dont think speculation about someones livelihood is ever "invited" no matter what you got out of that post. PS the post wasnt from the Tapy's

Not at all, and in no way has anyone yet to do that. However, prior to that post no one was even aware that Mez was "discharged from the Trucker's Team... for inappropriate behavior...". That very specific post invited speculation.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree, I am perfectly fine with the explanation and have no urge to speculate on it any further than that. It aint any of my business!
