It still amazes me how you got all these pictures. (Even from the infield) at that track that aparently *NO DUST WAS PRESENT* because at times I couldn't see the track that was 40ft in front of me.

Great shot. Wasn't Keven the one who flipped and almost jumped the fence? Glad he was ok

Well, there isn't much dust in my shots for a couple of reasons. First off, the dust tends to get thrown to the outside of the race track. Second, I didn't shoot anything after the heat races. I was up in the stands covering from the dust and rocks like everyone else.

And yeah, this shot was taken just before Kevin hopped the retaining wall. I wonder who's truck was in the way from getting the bobcat out to fetch the car, anyway. . . . .

Oh, here is a bonus picture, showing the level of dust present during the heat races.

That's a great shot! That started off as good night but ended in me running out of talent and racetrack at the flagstand. Thanks for posting the pick!

Well, since you noted that you have quite a bit of motocross background....

You were hauling the mail. And just a couple of qualifiers before you, Shephard got bitten by the back fence.

Oh, and you are welcome.

Studley to JJones: Hey check this out (shows video of flip on cell phone to daytime Frolic crowd)

JJones: "So what the heck happened there, Stud?"

Studley: "Well, I ran out of track and talent at the exact same time..."

Just glad there were no injuries and sense of humor was still intact. :thumb
