1998 is the year I remember seeing this car in action. However, when I saw it Gary Hayhurst, Jr. was in the car for a USAC show at Red Hill in October of 1998.

I thought Cummins was in the 12c? I can recall some awesome races back in those days with Cummins, Randy Kinser, Brad Devearous (spell?) , Larry Bland , Briscoe, Engler , Joey Nash, Stepter , etc.........Those are some names out of the past.......

It was either 1991 or 1992 I think. He was working for Jones Engineering at the time. I went with them to Terre Haute around September '92 for a race, and it was bitter cold. They were working with a plenum type injection at the time. Mark ran the 12C car in 1989 or 1990 for Ronnie Lambrich.

Tell mark the year when you see him, he couldn't remember the year. Tell him the memory is the first to go when he gets old.

The year was 98. The car is a 1997 J and J. Mark drove it just a couple of times that year after Larry Bland quit. The next year is when Hayhurst jr started driving for us.

How about Lee Dunn? Him and Hayhurst had some good battles!
