Shawn, Teegarden told me yesterday, he had read in his RV paper, that there was going to be a truck show at Greensburg, Friday, and Saturday, so if anyone is interested, and it is a fact, they could come early, and look over the trucks on display, then stick around for the races. Bob

I find it interesting that you are having a race in Greensburg. The UMRA is racing at Mt. Lawn, yet the UMRA race is being sponsored by Decatur County Tourism.
I just find it a little odd, that Decatur County Tourism would spend their money, outside of their county, while a "similar" event is being held smack, dab in the middle of Decatur County.

You can find it insteresting, or however you would like, but the fact is that UMRA hasn't done anything like this until they've had some competitition, period. In my opinion, it's too late. They can get whatever sponsor they would like, that's fine, it's honestly good for the sport to have sponsors. I don't find it odd by any stretch of the imagination. It's like having Big O Tires of Rushville sponsoring a race, since they all run American Racer or Hoosier. It doesn't matter, it's money towards the sport.
If someone from another county would like to sponsor a race in another county, it's their choice. UMRA can try all they would like, but you can't tell me that they are not trying things now that they've not tired before. They are trying anything to prevent the new series from doing well, or even giving it a chance. I highly doubt the tourism department went after UMRA to sponsor their event in Henry County.
So, with all of this being said, it's a free bump to the top! :thumb

This should prove to be a very interesting day in the world of Indiana TQ racing!
