I really like the idea of reducing the age limit. 14 would be a great number.:applaud::applaud:

Now back to Fall Sports. :rolling

UMRA=:angry-smiley-007::headbang
It will be a private club and they will NOT be welcomed.

I don't think even changing the age limit would make a difference for them. There are too many people in running the club that can't see the light of day. We are planning to include drivers 14 and up as long as they are willing to sign a race emmancipation agreement. I want the league to be a transition from karts to sprints. And welcome career members and those wishing to use it as a stepping stone to the next level.

ok so we have our first few rules set.

1. NO Goffs
2. 14 and up age
3. Same engine rules as UMRA

is it invitation only or is there others from umra that will be banned from your series or any other rule changes?:thumb

Sorry I didn't answer you sooner. I had to go back and figure out what incident you were talking about. I missed it because I was in Jamaica. That was another "bury my head in the sand" call. Really, do they feel good about winning that way?

17 cars is sad. We have been contacted by over 30 car owners and drivers who want to be involved and have been waiting for a chance to race again. I really had no idea so many felt that way.

Fall sports? I didn't know there were any other sports besides golf and racing. LOL

They want to eliminate the competition. Do it anyway possible. And it has worked for a long time.

LOL on rule #1
that's the plan on rule #2
the engine rules will be standard TQ midget engine rules

It's not going to be invitation only but those interested will submit an application and it will be reviewed by a racing advisory committeed formed by us. We're doing this mainly to keep out those only interested in causing trouble.

We've had several people that have graciously donated their compiled rulebooks to us so we can create the rulebook. I hope to have it ready as soon as possible. There are at least 5 tracks interested in this before we even decided to do it.

That has become pretty obvious. I think I would rather beat a full field of competition than to win over a handful.

Once the word starts to spread you will see cars come out of the closet. Many Guys stopped running years ago and would love to do it again.
