Sometimes you get hit from behind when you make an unexpected move to another line. I like Justin Grant, and we know things happen fast on the track, but he does seem to have a knack for putting others in a no win situation.

I may not have my info right but didnt Topps buy Gaerte out several years ago. Seems odd a team of that quality, that far from base showing up unprepared

Yes they did but a short time later Topps liquidated the dynos, tools and parts at auction. The buildings were sold at that time. I'm guessing it just wasn't profitable for them. I was also surprised if not a little shocked that they didn't have another engine to compete with a $35,000 winners purse but i will say engines are very expensive and was at the end of the season.
