Flagboy55 I hope you had a great time at The 4Crown!! Had never been to Eldora in my life until 2021...been there 5 straight years now with The 4Crown being the last 3 trips in 23, 24, and 25. We made some awesome memories again Saturday, and witnessed something yet again that I have never witnessed, which is twice in the past 30 days.
When drivers crash and get out under their own power, people cheer and clap that they are not hurt...the Finale at Smackdown this year after Briggs crashed and walked away and came by the backstretch on his way to his trailer, he got a standing ovation including from our entire group...I have never seen that in my entire life!!!!
Saturday didnt involve a crash, it was kind of a 2 night battle between the 87 of Reutzel and 24 of Rico...but when Rico finally made the pass stick on Reutzel on Saturday, dang I swear I thought the awning was going to come down!!!! Wow did the fans blow the roof off or what when Rico passed Reutzel!!!! That was incredible to witness!!!! Although definitely a Nonwing fan, the best racing to me was clearly the Wings...I personally thought all 3 Nonwing classes was quite boring!!!!
Congratulations to my guy, JG, Justin Grant on capturing the 2025 Silver Crown Championship and a very nicely job well done all weekend by Daison Pursley.
The dust was better then last year, but still extremely dusty, dry, slick, and 0 track prep once the action started. 4 hour drive, still got home at 2am, $50 per ticket, sadly it will be our last 4Crown unless things majorly change in which I'm sure they won't. Tired of the same old dust bowl and Nonwings being a support system for Wings.
We will go back to Eldora, its an annual Fall Trip that we look forward to after a long hard summer and it kicks off Fall for us before the 3 month Grind of Indiana's Deer Season, but next year it will be for Late Models and The World100 instead of the 4Crown!!

I have to say my experience on Saturday night was short and very disappointing. Between the dust and my poor choice of seating, it was a waste of time. I bought a reserved seat in turn 4, where I brought my own folding chair and sat on the numbered concrete space.
The qualifying races were okay, and I could see all the on track action.
When the sprint feature started, not once could I see the cars. The dust was so bad I could not identify a single car, which made trying to watch the race impossible.
When the High Limit feature started, it was the same, except I could see a few wings a couple of times.
I left on the first caution of the High Limit race and listened to the remainder of the races on Flo as I drove 90 minutes to my destination for the night.
A real disappointment.
