Does anyone have any experience at this speedway? Is it worth making the trek?

I like Sycamore Speedway. It has a lot going for it. Good track surface, decent seats and plenty of parking. And the Italian restaurant across the street has great food! Highly recommend seeing a race at this track.

I've been there a few times and made the trek over from northwest Indiana. Decent race track and surface, good grandstand seating, decent concession stands. The racing itself is pretty good. Track is about an hour or so west of Chicago depending on traffic.

The teams love Sycamore because of all the trees in the pit area when it's hot out. Almost looks like the teams are pitting in a park.

Sycamore is definitely worth the effort. We've attended several Badger events there and it's a great all around facility, the track surface provided damn good racing and grandstand seating is comfortable.

Come on out! Badger midgets Saturday along with track regular Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Limited Late Models. Races start late enough that things will cool off. We typically have a good bottom groove and the fast cars on the fence.

I've heard there might be a couple vintage open wheel cars making some laps too.

I like the later starts down here (although I haven't been there for a few years and will not make it 2mrw). Maybe it will cool off SOME as the night goes on...
