The Indiana DOT in their ultimate wisdom has chosen to close I-465 from I-70 to I-65 on the southeast side of Indy for road patching. The west/southbound lanes will be closed first then they will switch to the other side. This may affect your trip this friday's sprint show and Tuesday's midget week date. Adjust your route accordingly. Also there may be lane closures on 465 around the I-69 project.

Right now I am loathing the racing families that come and go via I74

Getting to Circle City via I-74 is no problem. If you try to go anywhere else you are screwed.
