These screenshots are from IOW member Wing H8a, he created the IndianaOpenWheel.com midget for the midget racing game rFactor. Many thanks goes to James for painting this car. Seeing these images takes me back to the days when the game Dirt Track Racing - Sprint Cars was created. That is when I started painting USAC cars for the game. It was that game and of course my love for Indiana Sprint Car racing that started a website called teamusacsprints.cjb.net, which led to USACFans.com and after the farmer :moon: decided to crash the party, USACFans.com changed its name and was re-created as IndianaOpenWheel.com, a site that now averages over 11 million pages views per month.

Thanks James(Wing H8a)!!

Yeah... I've never really been a very good wheel man though... I may need to hire a driver.

Bill, back when that game came out, teamusacsprints was like my favorite site and I had every download there was! SilverCrown was my favorite series to run, though :O::respect: I never realized that was the origin of what is now IOW.com...:thumb

Your welcome Bill, I didn't know you were DTRSC old school, I only started racing DTR2 towards the end of its popularity and now just race rFactor, got a few mates that used to race DTRSC, what was your online name back in the day?

Glad you like the car, I can't wait to get up on a Saturday morning and join a USA server and see that car doing laps! I had to put you behind the wheel, too many other options when it comes to Indiana open wheel ledgends, didn't want to cause a fight!

BG was my screen name... later after being a part of the Simguys Racing League we all started using SGR-BG Raced with Risky Brisky, RichPA, Skully, Joe Snyder, Kirk "Spridge" ( I think he was like 10 years old then) Had alot of fun doing it.

I haven't messed with my rFactor stuff lately. Are the midgets out yet?

I kinda wondered why we don't have a dirt track racing sim leauge or at least winter IOW online racing.

Which game is best. I only have DTR2 and have had trouble getting or making a competitive sprinter/midget on it. What is that video from?

Just think it would be cool as it's cool to go to a Kart track and race against some of your mentors. you really get to see how good they are or dirty when that happens It's fun

That game is rFactor,
I have raced Cole Whitt and Kevin Swindell (and beaten them) in rFactor Sprint Cars, that was cool!

Not too sure if you can click on my signature and see the races I have competed in at KDSR (we are yet to run Sprints or Midgets but have done may other races)
