Gopher Midget Racing Series

·
We believe the time is right to start a Midget Racing Series in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, SO HERE WE GO!!!

Initial plan:
2023 will be a series development and exhibition year, as we take the necessary time to put the right pieces in place for a successful Inaugural Race Season in 2024. We're working with the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association, closely mirroring their proven rule package.

Goals for the 2024 Inaugural Season:
6 to 8 Wednesday / Thursday Night events
2 to 4 Sunday Night events
4 additional weekend events

This journey is just beginning, we look forward to hearing your feedback on the series plan and welcome your ideas and suggestions. Please contact us if you and your business would like to become a marketing partner with our series.

Thank you,
Gopher Midget Race Director - Mark Daniels
Interim Marketing / Promotional Manager - Matt Bohl

WATCH FOR THE MIDGETS

Gopher Midget car owners and teams will be testing at area tracks in MN and western WI in 2023 gathering intel, hoping to grow support and interest for our series plan. Watch for us at race tracks in the area, stop by and chat with us, we love feedback from all.

What a great idea something that Minnesota? Has needed for a long time? Hopefully Jackson Motorplex will be included. In the plans. Deer Creek would be another great track. Hopefully you can put together a Motor Rule Package that will keep the cost down to Make it Affordable. So you will get a decent car count. Also open tire rule. To help keep tire prices down. I think if you do it right, it's something that could catch on. There's nothing better than a good midget show. Glen Murra
