Wow, thats impressive!
I went to a couple of Pa. Speedweek shows this week & they had good car counts & plenty of fans. Grandview was packed to the rafters & Port Royal had a big crowd too, didn't appear as packed but its a bigger facility.
Plenty of cars on the highway too.... even with crazy gas prices & tire shortage, seems like Americans still have some $ & want to have fun...

Why do you think there won’t be as many cars on Saturday? Just curious.

I think they’ll be just as many. Could even pick up a few others. That count and crowd was impressive. I thought the racing was good. Yea some didn’t like the track but it was a pretty good show. Looking forward to watching again tonight. Great job by Lps, USAC , MSCS for running an efficient show with all those cars.

I think the car count was helped some by no other tracks running.

And could be the same tonight with no one else (that I can see) running sprints tonight.

Can anyone explain why a yellow wasn’t thrown when the infield tire coming out of 2 got shoved further out on the track and cars were driving under it?
