If you haven't been to Union Co in the last 3 years you will not recognize it. They have really invested alot of money into the place. Now the track owner has invested in a real promoter and things are turning around fast. They are still working on the track surface, but they have made major strides since last year.

I made a trip out to UCS Friday night. The new promoter has put alot of work into the track surface. It was the best track I have ever seen there. Smooth all night, with multiple grooves of raceing. It was still hard, and got slick, but no bolders or ruts. Man I was amazed.

The sprint car entry information is on our website now. If at all possible, we would like to know what sprint teams are entering for our free program drivers/owner/sponsor list.

E-mail me at tbracefest@aol.com with the above info to be included.

Tony it was good talking to you at work the other day. Hope all is going well with this race, and seems like it's going to be a big hit.

Whitewater state park is also a very good place to camp, and I live only 2 minutes away from the track, you can here the late models and modifieds from the living room, got a couch and usually beer in the fridge, just let me know if anybody needs a place to crash.

The Bus,

Thanks for lightening those flyers up at Office Max the other day.

The state parks around the Brookville Lake/Liberty area are nice. There is a first class marina restaurant off of 101 about halfway to Brookville that has a great view of the lake. Just like Margaritaville there with big houseboats.

I have a couple other developments:

Patrick Sullivan and Kimb Stewart will be announcing.

Newlywed Tony Funk will sing the National Anthem

Union County Speedway is shaped like a paperclip with banking in the turns.

Here is an aerial shot. The motocross is no longer in the infield. That is where we will have the ATV jump during available time/intermission.

Is there a post showing the complete schedule for the midget week series? I'm sure there is, but I'm not seeing it. I'd like to attend a few of these if I'm able.

Union County looks awesome and fast.

Thanks
George Wilkins
