Im just wondering how Xtreme won rounds one and two. When only two of the top twenty drivers from last year have committed and one of them is under suspension. How they are going to be the premier in 2023 and have two tracks that are among the elite and a regional area. Lots of land area to cover and quite honestly there aren't that many that can do it full time. I've also seen some that say they are going to try to support both as their schedule allows. Like Bacon running both Woo and Xtreme this weekend I've always been a I hope both succeed and grown the sport. If in the end XTREME has 60-70 races a dozen full time racers and goes coast to coast. More power to em. But right now, Why the push to destroy the most racing and most higher purses in recent history?

I can't predict the future and I think they could have handled this situation a little better, but if I had a dollar for everytime someone announced the demise of USAC I could afford to attend many more races.

It's an easy way to find out how confident people are in what they say.

Just an observation, having grooved a lot of tires in my business, were the samples taken with a heated iron, or a cold cutter, probably could change the samples, maybe, just a thought, my irons always smoked the rubber, and the pcs removed would be very hot. Just sayin.

Another price increase for ya and more shortage announcements.
Won't be long till slate granite tires (Even doped ones) will be a cheaper more viable option ![]() https://www.hoosiertire.com/assets/2...IGeWAtNI-6ovW0

Brent, in all honesty, I don't see how you can get a quality sample from a used tire, and that brings me back to the durometer, or, an open tire rule.

Perhaps this is an inexact science with lots more variables than we assume and yet some then some make unverified conclusions, but does make for interesting internet banter.
