Best route to Gas City Thursday

I will be coming from Illinois on my way to Gas City on I-70 and I know how screwed up traffic usually is thru Indy. I will probably be nearing Indy around noon or a little later. Is I-70 to I-69 feasible or should I take another route? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Bill

Bill, just take I-70 to I-465 around the North side to I-69. During the day the traffic isnt to bad. I-70 and I-65 are closed at the North-South split downtown. Have fun.....

Really hoping they can run, The track and pits are ok, Most of the parking is a field. Lots of rain yesterday and today.

Forgot to mention this morning for those hanging around for the 4 Crown this weekend, for something to do Friday is the Ducktail rod run in Gas City and the James Dean rod run just down the road in Fairmount. Both shows have plenty of cars to look at,but the Ducktail is the bigger of the 2 shows.

Oops I hit personal message and not sure why. Will I see you at Gas City? Hate to sound dumb here but do I take 465 north on the west side of Indy or the east side? Hope to see you tonite!

I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt tonight happens. It rained for 2 straight days, and yesterday was a complete washout day. It was still raining this morning when I left for work at 3am. The forecast is more scattered rain and overcast.

Radar looks promising and high winds should help the drying process. Bring warm clothing
