Rest In Peace Robin Miller

One of the very best and a giant in Motorsports journalism has passed away. Time and time again he was an advocate for American drivers in all forms of motorsports but particularly open wheel and IndyCar racing.

Robin Miller 1949-2021
Prayers to all his family, friends, & all those he touch.
One of the best in American Motorsports journalism has gone to be with all the other Motorsports greats to be with the lord jesus.
Always appreciated his insight in IndyCar and racing in general.
He will be missed.

2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

Love him or hate him, he was a character who always spoke his mind. The Dinner With Racers episode with him was a riot

Great Person

Known him since 1972 when I cut their grass. "Their" being Larry Rice, Chuck Gurney and Robin. (Larry was the only one who would pay me!)

He did countless things behind the scenes for racers. He was behind the original Jan Opperman fund that Bob and Tom ran with. He held birthday parties for the late Tony Bettenhausen Jr. long after he was gone. Not to mourn, but to celebrate his friend and a bench race session that blew my mind. Just a great, great guy.

RIP

As far as I've seen, He's one of the very few motorsport journalist who tried to keep a connection between Indycar and short track racing.

R.I.P Robin.

I trying to imagine open wheel racing without Robin Miller and I can't.

Rest in peace.

Not a whole lot of journalist that had the enthusiasm for motor racing that Robin Miller did. Hope someone comes up with a memorial race in his honor. Maybe a USAC Midget show.
