With the 400 this weekend, I'm guessing there should be a decent amount of regional midgets there "testing" for it. Any word on who will be there?

 Wow USAC you should be ashamed of the show you had tonight at anderson!! I understand it was a test run for saturdays race, but the feature looked like a heat race and you guys take forever to run a race and drag it out by having the cars go around for several yellow laps for no reason!! USAC use to be the series to watch but boy do things sometimes change for the worse with time!! You guys at kokomo were awfull at getting to the crashes and the regular track crew took care of the drivers as they always do!! You guys act like you don't give a **** about the drivers for some reason and just stand there with your thumbs up your ass when there is a crash!! Okay enough of the ******** just wanted to voice my opinion!!

The racing started at 7 - there were 5 heats and 3 30 lap features with a fifteen minute break between the end of heats and the start of the feature - maybe it stretched to 20. It was a beautiful night - I called Dick Jordan of USAC when the last feature ended - I checked my cell phone to see when that was - it was 8:58. I'm sorry, I'm lost here. If you add up time that was possibly wasted by running an extra lap we are talking maybe 10 minutes - and usuallly that was to make sure that rhe wrecker was in position to return to the track when needed. Really pal, you need to take a chill pill.

If you compare a USAC show to one's at Gas City or Kokomo there is no comparision to how it is run, not even close!! Just stating what i have seen at several Usac shows and regular shows i have been to in the past few years! Just like them trying to run the track in two Sunday's ago at kokomo Usac once again took forever to get the show going!! When the regular crew takes control of it things are done right and they get the show going. Usac comes in and thinks the people that work the track on a regular basis are idiots and don't know what they are doing to run the show for the night!! I just think usac needs to review how they treat people and take some lessons from some of the great tracks we have and there crews!!!:headbang

Your post was about Anderson - Anderson started on time or within 5 minutes after 7 as stated - The track crew and USAC worked hand in hand. I listened to the interaction between race control and the track all night long. The racing was completed in less than 2 hours. I attend anywhere between 60 and 90 races a year - year after year and have done so at this clip for nearly 30 years so based on my experience -- I'm sorry - if you can find a reason to complain about how Anderson was run tonight then you are going to be unhappy most nights you go to the racetrack.

They run the track in every week at Kokomo, USAC or not. I agree with Pat you are way off base here bud

I actually thought things were started earlier then normal. The races finished an hour earlier then they normally do.
