I have been going to the Chili Bowl for the past 5 years and since the date has been moved this year, I will only be able to make it Tues-Thursday. Since I wont be able to make the 2 main nights of the CB, I want to do the whole week of ISW next yr. I dont really know too much info about Indiana Sprint Week. How would you compare the 2? Its that really hard to do? Are tickets hard to find? Any more tips you can give?

For the most part, the racing at ISW is great.. Tickets are not a problem, and for the most part, it's only 2-3 hours(at most) travel between the tracks....

But there are a few downsides, especially if you travel a ways to get to ISW..
The split week - first weekend 4 shows, then three/four off days, then three shows. While there is a ton of stuff to do in and around INDY, like the brickyard museum, it can be a bit boring. But there are some short tracks that are not part of ISW that schedule shows on off nights, so there is something to do...

If you're not camping or in an RV, you have find motels - either near each track, or centrally located. But if you're centrally located, be prepared to drive a bunch...and with gas at $4/gallon.....

But you'll never see better racing over a shorter period of time with full fields each night, with car counts from 35 and up; and you'll get to see a bunch of great tracks....

I live in Arkansas and go to the July 4th Daytona race every year. Thats getting kinda old and I love dirt racing. Im trying to decide on what to do because I figure hotels are rare.

There is a link at the top of the message board that lists hotels near each track - that may help get you started....some IOW's can probably give you hotel advise, as well....

I have just started the process of putting together a printed guide for both Indiana Sprint & Midget Weeks. It will include the schedules, pertinant track info, nearby hotels & eateries, as well as area attractions such as car museums. Driving directions will also be included. It will be available early next year.

Hey. At least that means that you pay attention to my posts. I can't say I remember a post that you've ever made.
