Do the stands still face the west?I went there afew years back and between the sun setting in your eyes and the dust ,it was not a good night.

The stands do face the west, but the sight lines are very good. The track is 70 feet wide, and 1428 feet around the groove.

With all the comments here about dust, we will do our best to hold it down.

Union County Speedway is shaped like a paperclip with banking in the turns.

Here is an aerial shot. The motocross is no longer in the infield. That is where we will have the ATV jump during available time/intermission.

Krusman motorsports is supposed to have 2 cars running all the races, i would be surprised if stanbrough did not show up. i don't think it will be a huge turnout of sprints, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see 25 cars.

Last year had several running both classes but the most of the USAC Sprint teams are not there. They drive different cars.

I wouldn't be too sure of Kruesman motorsports plans since Kruiser broke his ribs.

Last year the lowest car count for Midget week was around 38 with the highest being about 60. Midget cars well and truly on the rise and probably due to events like , Midget Week, Cornhusker belleville etc etc. and not to mention theres a lot of cars that go to Chili Bowl that are just sitting around so why not use em'.
