As per the promoters office they have the go ahead from the local authorities. The state is the only jurisdiction that hasn't given clearance to run the race. Let's hope they do.

There is still a glimmer of hope for Springfield, as well.

Yes, the August 22nd Springfield date is not going to happen but, I was told by an official at the promoter's office that Springfield could be run at a later date if the state gives the go ahead.

It's a long shot but there might still be a faint glimmer of hope.
