This Friday we have one of our Jacksonville "List Minute Specials". Our POWRi Midget race fell victim to the rain last Friday as a part of our Outlaw show. We are making it up this Friday along with POWRi Micros.

There's still some details on this show for us to work out regarding pricing and a sponsor promotion. In addition to Modifieds, we are putting together a crate late model feature with some of our area great retired drivers.

I'll post full details regarding this event Monday evening once we get a bow on it. But go ahead and mark your calendars for this makeup POWRi Midget/Micro event this Friday at Jacksonville.

This Friday October 19th we have a really unique show at Jacksonville Speedway

Headlining our last night of racing are POWRi Midgets which were originally scheduled to race last Friday during our rained-out World of Outlaw event.

Joining the Midgets in regular racing action are POWRi Micros and Modifieds.

As a special bonus we are having Highbank Heroes presented by Taylor Brothers Towing for some of our outstanding retired area racers. Our local Pro Late Model teams have generously allowed some of our area legends to drive their cars for this special event.

The Highbank Heroes event will be a 12 lap real racing event.

Although the exact lineup has been a little fluid as we've put this together and paired cars and drivers, as of this morning the following were planning to race (in no particular order)...

Grandstands open at 5:00. Hot Laps at 6:00. Racing at 7:00

Adult Admission $18, Ages 11-18 $5, Kids 10 and under Free.

Shhh.... don't tell anybody or nobody might show up. But current plans are to stream the event. I disconnected everything thinking our Outlaw event last Friday would be the last of the year. But assuming everything goes back together ok...

It's our last Race Day of the year with a really neat show on tap presented by WHELEN. Powri Midgets and Micros, Modifieds, and Taylor Brothers Towing Highbank Heroes.

WHELEN will have giveaways to our early fans and the track is offering a special gift of "All You Can Grab Painters Tape" to our early birds. Well... we couldn't bring ourselves to remove the reserved Outlaw seat tape for the third time.. so it's still there - but go ahead and sit on it or take it up if you wish.

Grandstands open at 5:00, Hot Laps 6:00. Racing at 7:00.

First Responders only $10 thanks to WHELEN. Regular Adult admission $18, Ages 11-18 $5, Kids 10 and under Free.
