I've been kind of following this on Facebook over the last week or so.
I'm sure some of you have seen it on Facebook as well.
Very cool to see how the racing community has stood up and got behind 11 yr old Caleb Hammond from near Oskaloosa, IA.
He was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 9 but after 18 months of unsuccessful therapy he has decided to stop treatment and all he wants is to have is casket covered in racing stickers.
He has been receiving racing stickers from all over the country: Drivers, Teams, Tracks, Event Stickers, ect.
RACE TRACKS, RACE TEAMS / DRIVERS, EVENT STICKERS, ECT
If you decide you would like to help and send some stickers to Caleb an his family here is the address:
314 N. J Street, Oskaloosa, IA, 52577
I had to watch it twice cuz first time I couldn"t see though my tears. I know what I"ve been though but I"m a old man, I just can"t even think about being 11 and facing this. I just sent a handful of stickers but I think the kid needs more. Please drivers, car owners IOW"ers lets show this kid what us Hoosiers can do send stickers please
