Hi

Flying into Chicago on Thursday to start a 19 day sprint car holiday to include USAC sprint week

First stop Union County Speedway, does anybody have an address i can enter into my sat nav for the track. The web site only seems to have PO box no ?

Saturday 5th July give me an option of Paragon or Lawrenceburg. Any recommendations ?

Does anybody know where i can pick up a pay as you go sim card for my mobile with sensible rates ?

Thanks for your help

Graham, use Rte. 44, Liberty, IN as your address for Union County Speedway. For July 5th you might want to go to Paragon since you will be at Lawrenceburg for 2 nights July 9-10. Welcome and have a great time!:thumb

Not sure what your July 4 plans are, but you might consider a stop in Rushville for the UMRA TQs at the Rush County Fairgrounds. Not that far from Union County. Get on I-70 and go west to Indiana 3 and go south. It's at the Rush County Fairgrounds.
They normally have a pretty good field for July 4 with fireworks afterwords. It is a small track but great for the TQs. This is where Tony Stewart won his first race in a midget about 18 years ago.

As you may know, most US cell phones don't use SIM cards. They are sold by the phone companies and are "locked" to the seller's network. However, it is my understanding that T-Mobile and AT&T support SIM phones. You can buy SIM cards at Target stores (a big chain with stores everywhere). You might even be able to get them at convenience stores like 7-11. I would guess Target will have as good a price as anywhere.

I assume you'll be able to buy them in the airport, but I doubt the price will be good.

Here's T-Mobile's info site: http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/Phones/...a-000007a2ac12

Wal-Mart sells a Go-Phone for about $20. This is the kind of phone that you pay as you go & you can buy a card for I think $15 on up. The phone comes with a $10 card included. This is what my granddaughter has & with this set-up, your not tied down with a regular plan. These phones are AT&T. Mine is AT&T & I get good coverage most everywhere I go.

you'll have a great 2+ weeks of racing in Indiana. another thought for your vacation is to visit the new and improved Terre Haute Action Track on the 4th of July. they are having the All Star winged sprinters and a huge fireworks display afterwards with tickets starting at only $10. if you can make it i would like to welcome you to Indiana racing and give you a HARF (Hoosier Auto Racing Fans) t-shirt to wear while your here. stop by and see me, we always sit on the handicap platform down by turn 4. Terre Haute is a half mile dirt and has been transformed this year to be like it was in the old days, very racey. but if i don't see you there, enjoy the racing here in Indiana while you're here, it's the best racin' you'll see anywhere. bob.:checkered:
