I don't know how they could get it in. I live a little over an hour southwest of there and it has been raining steady all morning. And the radar shows the system moving northeast.😡😤

I don’t understand why they don’t make an announcement.

I do get that part Kenny its just that everyone wants an early decision but then the same people complain if the weather clears and they think they should have raced. There are alot of people on this board that need to spend a few weeks in the promoters shoes.

I had plans in place with another person to come with me plus there are lots of other things I have to consider, not the least of which is the driving time. When it is pretty evident that the race isn’t going to happen, I think it is appropriate to make the call as early as possible.
When I have plans to attend a race that is the dominant part of my day and I can’t wait until the middle of the day to know what I am doing. I am sure there are other fans that also have a considerable drive too. It is not unreasonable to expect an early notification.

I have never complained if a race was called and then it cleared. You have a distinct advantage over me because of your close proximity to so many of the tracks.
I don’t believe my comment was overly critical. The rain had started at Putnamville well before it did down here and Haubstadt had already made the call by the time I checked a little after nine, therefore it only seemed logical that Putnamville would have called.
That’s my $.02 worth! See you at the races!
