Years ago there were two groups down south that ran carbs. One was the Texas Super Sprints and can't think of the name of the other.

In both groups the they ran 305's limited to one two barrel carb and the cars had to be selfstarting.

The other was the Cajun Sprinters, out of the Baton Rouge area, but iirc they were a 360 class. I remember them being entertaining, especially for the area (not much sprint racing). Anyone with inquiries about carb performance could likely look up a Butch David, Todd Johnson (Jason's cousin), or Lane Whittington on Facebook. Those guys all ran them and wouldn't mind chatting about anything sprint car related.
