Ok not looking for opinions just fact. Local race tracks in Indiana, at a local show are you allowing cockpit adjustable shocks, or are you going by USAC’s new rule no cockpit adjustable device. Kokomo, Putnamville, Lawrenceburg, Haubstat/ MSCS, Gas City, Bloomington? What’s going to be the rule?
Well with the cost of motors and tire bill for x amount a night. This rule of no cables will sure save us a bunch of money and really drop the cost of sprint car racing.

you forgot to put "NOT" LOl
If you look in your mirror and see a line of cars behind you, be kind and pull over.
I think they are trying to keep rule consistent from track to track, and series to series. Put it back in the drivers hands, instead of who can make the most adjustments during a race.
Most everyone already has shocks and adjusters in the car so not cost savings there and only a few now how to adjust them the correct way to start with. The electronic wheel bleeders is a expense to everyone since they where not allowed to begin with not a cost savings there and has for the seats I am hearing that any seat over 2 years old will have to be replaced so where does any of the new usac rules make any sense and save money for anybody.
I hope no other tracks follow along. This is a non value added change. It doesn’t make racing cheaper. It doesn’t help the little guy. We all already have adjustable shocks. Now the guys that do not race as often are at a disadvantage because we’re less likely to hit the setup right on any given night compared to a guy running 60 races a year.
Let’s ban those expensive bleeder kits or make you keep the same RR tire on all night. That’ll lower cost and make it easier on the little guy.
But will it affect results?
I say absolutely not. The same guys that ran up front last season will run up front again. If they made a rule of 4 non adjustable pros, Courtney, Grant, KTJR, Windom and the rest will still be battling at the front.
