For all that didn’t make the meeting today at the swap meet Dan Roberts and tech man Dan Watson held a meeting about the new rule changes for this 2018 season for Bloomington speedway. One major change was the wheel cover on any corner of the car must be bottled on now. Think this is a great rule keeping drivers, crew, track crew, and fans safe. Another possible rule change is make everyone run a belted Hoosier LR tire and must derometer to a 35 after the races I do believe. It was stated at the meeting what ever Mr. Roberts and his crew decides the teams and drivers will support there decision. Mr.Roberts and his crew are suppose to announce there decision this week on this tire rule. The valve springs this year are not taken lightly. There a rule for to strong and to soft of springs so make sure your legal. If I missed anything please comment below. The schedule looks great running many different tracks this coming year and can’t thank Mr.Roberts enough for all the hard work, time, and effort he has put in to getting us to new tracks.
