For a number of years there was an open comp show at Springfield on the mile. I was not able to make all of them.

I would like to crawl into the time machine and see one I missed

Bubby Jones and Opperman put on a show that supposedly was a race for the ages and I sure would like to go back and see that one.

Can't name just one, but there are 3 forever trenched in my mind
1. 1991 Hoosier Fall Classic. Best wing show I ever saw.
2. 1999 NWWC opener at Twin Cities. Heckuva race between Rusty Mclure, Bill Rose, Cory Kruseman & Tony Elliott
3. 1980 WoO show at Lernerville. Rick Ferkel in most dominating race I seen.

Any big car race at the Minnesota State Fair Dirt Mile. Or even at the post 1937 Dirt Half-Mile.
