Holy Cow we are getting pounded, the hail is covering the ground and water is rising very fast. We have got about six inches of water standing in the garden. If you are East of Kokomo be prepared the rain is unbelievable, a little wind but the hail is really pounding everything. This came about 3:10 pm and is going strong as we speak. Oh and this is supposed to keep going until Sat.

Meanwhile, here in the Carolina desert, we haven't had a drop of rain in 18 days.

We got hit hard about 2:15 this morning here 20 miles north of Dayton, OH. Our power was off from app 2:15 until 5:10 AM.

The weather man is calling for more thru Monday here, then sunny Tuesday.:headbang

I'd love to have it, but I couldn't afford the gas to get it here. Sorry, that's another subject. Seriously, there doesn't seem to be a happy medium with the weather. As bad as I hate seeing my yard and garden turn to dust, I would never want to trade places with those folks who have had to endure the flooding.

Just looked at the statewide radar. I'm wondering how all that stuff got to the east of us without raining a drop. Pretty nice day here just north of I-70. Windy, but otherwise sunny and HOT!

We've had our share in Columbus. Latest news says 150 million total damage.... 25 of it is the hospital. It's not been pretty.
