I'm hoping someone can give me some info about visiting The Speedway after the 500. I will be coming from Lincoln IL. and hope to arrive at the speedway on Monday june 5th. Is it easy to get to the speedway? Where do I park? Do they still have bus tours of the speedway? Thanks. Brian

Yes, the Speedway is easy to reach. Here is a link that should help. http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway...ck-experiences. Just type their address into your GPS, or Google for directions. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

Mapquest or Google Maps should get you good info; parking for the Museum is off of 16th St., Gate 2 halfway between Turns 1 & 2 takes you under the track and the parking is straight ahead. Museum admission is $10, Bus Tours are $8. They also have special tours that have additional access to normally-restricted areas; go to http://www.indyracingmuseum.org for schedules and contact numbers.

The AJ Foyt exhibit is incredible, by the way; it's there until October.

My plan is to visit on Monday the 5th. Can't wait to see the place, take the tour, kiss the bricks and spend a bunch of time at the museum. I'm sure it will be a jaw dropping experience. Thanks again!

I agree. Make time to visit the display in the main area but also the ones in the newer back section.

Here are a couple photos from my visit there earlier this month.
