Feels like I'm ready to go ice fishing. On the positive side, I won't have to worry about my beer getting warm.

At least the wind is at our back for the most part. Hopefully they got enough water in the track

I know. Done at 9:15. No action while we sober up. 😉

Last time I was at the track they were still welding the bleachers together. There is a huge platform between the bottom row and the track. I stood by the fence there all night and wasn't even that cold..
Great time and nice to be home before ten. |

Great night at the track. Thanks to Plymouth and USAC for running in the cold.

Cold and windy, Indeed but that didn't effect the hot action on the track as Sam McGhee and JG worked their magic once again to take home the trophy and the money at Plymouth Speedway tonight. Grant was able to jump out to a pretty comfortable lead working the top side making his own groove and stretching it out to half a lap lead within maybe a dozen laps.
Justin soon caught back-markers and put about 4 cars between him and second place running Chad Boespflug who worked the bottom side of the track. Several more laps and Chad, driving the 69 Hoffman car, was starting to reel in Grant just as he began to close in on about 5 more cars to lap all running for their own positions in the race. But Grant masterfully used his patience and steadily picked one car at a time off until he had worked thru the myriad of cars. By that time Tyler Courtney had moved up from his 18th starting position to catch and pass Boespflug for 2nd by the time Grant had taken the checkers. It was certainly a technical track tonight pretty much from the get go but was fun to watch and it went green to checkers non stop. Kudos to the track for all their hard work and for hosting the race. Congratulations to Justin Grant and the McGhee family for picking up the Victory . Great Job |

Track prep was better than any time I had been there. A little choppy in some of the corners but they are real wide so there are many other ways to get around the place. Can't complain one iota
And.... as flagboy said, thank God the wind was at our back. How about that run by Tyler Courtney? 18th to second!
