Nothing on the Berlin Raceway website about this, but looking at the American Ethanol Late Model Series website and schedule, I found this (paraphrased):

The final two races of the 2017 campaign for the AELMT road warriors will see the teams head back west to the normally paved fairgrounds oval of the immaculate Berlin Raceway, located west of Grand Rapids in Marne, Michigan. Saturday, September 23rd will see the AELMT contingent vie for a $5,000 payday and then two weeks later, on Saturday, October 7th, the Late Models return for their second $10,000 to win show and will crown the 2017 AELMT Champion at the 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval that will be covered with dirt once again after taking 2016 off from dirt racing.
The last dirt Late Model race at Berlin was back on September 25th, 2015 as Dona Marcoullier scored the victory in what was a DIRTcar UMP Late Models sanctioned event. Promoter, Mike Bursley will bring the dirt back to the historic fairgrounds oval as he did from 2012-2015 as both American Ethanol tours will highlight the 2017 dirt schedule at Berlin with AEMODT also in competition both nights the AELMT is on the property as well as on September 30th. The AEMODT drivers will be competing for a three-race mini-series title in addition to the AEMODT championship with the October 7th show crowning the 2017 champions for both American Ethanol sponsored tours.

I wonder if Berlin putting the dirt down again might lead to a sprint car show there on the undercard? The MTS schedule has yet to be published.
