Certainly one of the best and isn't he a Karl Kinser alumni? I've heard he still talks to him on a regular basis.

Schatz ran four more Silver Crown races after that Hoosier 100 in 2003.
Just want to clarify, I respect Donnie and his team. As 94 said, you still have to drive the car. But when someone is as dominant as he has been, I always play devil's advocate. A strong run at the chili bowl might start an exorcism

So he really ran 8 races, I couldn"t remember I"M old and have CRC can"t remember chit
Seems to me that Schatz is a no win situation with this crowd. He is hands down the best Outlaw driver of my generation. His diving style reminds me of Dave Blaney or Wolfgang. Smooth, consistent, smart and is about as clean of a driver out there. He has had success in late models. He and Ricky are the best out there. With success comes the boo birds and usual charges of cheating etc. we should be glad that another top notch driver is coming out to the Chili Bowl.
