Fairbury is less than 45 minutes from our house and we've got our fingers crossed for favorable weather and a good midget car count. Fairbury is ground zero in mud cab and mortified country and a good showing would be a good thing on several levels.
2016 will be the 3rd year in a row Fairbury has had POWRi National Midgets on their schedule. The 2014 & 2015 dates were washed out with no rain date.
Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
