On June 4th, 2016, at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Co, Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint driver car #21 Michael Bennett was involved in a violent crash, resulting in him being badly injured. The cage was cut open, he was flown via helicopter to Denver, CO , and surgery was performed Sunday morning to repair his broken neck. He is still in the hospital in Intensive Care and has no movement in his arms and legs. He is self employed, and will be unable to work for quite some time. We established a gofundme account in his name. If any of you can help , please go to gofundme.com and search Michael Bennett, and scroll down until you see his car photo. We all know what can happen in this crazy sport, and sometimes it ends badly. If you can help with a few bucks, he wife will really appriciate it. If you have any questions, please contact me .
