The Midwest Lightning Midget Series will be making our first ever appearance at Chandler Speedway in Chandler, Indiana this coming Friday. All D2 Legal cars from all D2 Series along with TQs, motorcycle powered Midgets up to 1400cc and Micro Sprints (Sidewinders) are welcome to race with us. We also have no membership or guest fees just a $10 pill draw fee.

$500 to win and $100 to start based on a 15 plus car field. Purse will be adjusted if less then 15 cars

Any results from last night

The Midwest Lightning Midget Series made its first appearance of the season at Chandler Motor Speedway on Friday May 27th. Cars from 6 different states came to race for the $500 first place prize.

ZERO MOTORSPORTS team out of St Louis, MO came out strong by winning both of the heat races. The first heat race was won by Chad Wilkinson from Marion, Il. Second heat race was won by Daniel Robinson from Mount Vernon, IL.

Chett Gehrke from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma started deep in the feature due to having problems earlier in the night. It did not take long for Chett to start moving up through the field. With just two laps left Chett made the pass for the lead and never looked back. The Midwest Lightning Midgets will be moving to the Buckeye State next week with races at Skyline and Hilltop Speedways.
