Not sure where sprint cars came into play here on this one but...
micros are 600's? mini sprints are 1000's? So a Lightning sprint is the same as a 1000 upright, slash mini sprint, slash d2 midget correct?

Chris most people now a days call the micro sprints the 600 cars mini sprints so now the upright cars are called lightning sprints just so it stops confusion because it seems like the micros keep taking the lightning sprint names because lightning sprints used to be primarily called minis but some of the micro sanctioning bodies changed it to mini sprints.

Lots of confused.

Full size sprint
Larger chassis 15" wheels - upright seating position

305, 360, 410 etc

Mini sprint / lightning
Midget sized chassis
13 " wheels, engine in front of driver
Upright seating position

1000cc, 1200 cc, can be 600 and 750cc in areas

Micro sprint
10" wheels, engine beside drivers legs
Go kart type seating with feet towards the front axle

125, 270, 600, 636

Mini Sprint are a very vague classification. There are many different types of "mini sprint"
