USAC sprints are at LPS that night, doubt you will get any of those drivers

I want to say Bacon would be the only one running for points that it would affect, but it would allow for some other drivers with access to a wing ride to double up like BC or possibly see someone like Brad Loyet pull his midget out. POWRi is off that night so might get a couple cars from there.

DD has a ride for Sprints and Midgets, Not positive on Coons.
Amati racing has both a sprint and midget. I for one don't get why USAC schedules against itself

Correct Dave has a ride but at one point they weren't running the full midget schedule. I also am unaware of Jerry's status. The Amati car tends to only come out when they aren't focusing on the sprint car. I'm sure it will work out and both races will be fine.

Just to clarify, the race at Granite City on July 1 is not a USAC National "points-paying" event. It is a stand-alone, non-point race that is part of the continued, growing regional effort by USAC to give midget racers more events to compete in.

If they can get a decent midget car count, MOWA and midgets are an excellent show at Granite!

Thanks for the clarification!
