Yep, I am home. Released on Friday. At home with my hospital bed, wheel chair, transfer board, and bed side comode in the middle room, plus my pain pills and blood thinner injections I get to give myself. So, I am able to watch the big screen at least.

I am not feeling too good but I am alive and feel better than I did, so no too bad after 2 weeks.

Rumor has it that T&A Racing busted his fanny racing his motorcycle. What happened? Did his hair get in his eyes or did his training wheels fall off in mid-jump?
Get better soon, Dave. Hope to see you in the top row, toward the first turn, soon.

Sure did. I went to visit him when he was at Methodist, and went again another day,and he was gone already!

Dave probably doesnt remember that I stopped by.

Thanks Steve and thanks Andrew for the visit. I do remember you comnig to see me even though I was a little out of it.

After Methodist, I spent another week in a Rehab. hospital in Kokomo for a week.

5 broke ribs will be about 6-8 weeks. Hole in the lung sealed up. Both ankles and feet will be 3 months non-weight bearing in the good ole wheel chair. Then learn to walk.

Just doing my daily therapy at home makes me wonder how I can walk again, but the body can do amazing things. On a follow up visit the doctor said the ankle looked good which briefly gave some hope I would be up sooner than expected but when asked he said it would still be 3 months in the chair.

I am hoping of go to some races at least locally when I am up to it. At this point I can't sit in the wheel chair for an hour without wanting to lay down.

As far as the top rows, my buddy talks of fabricating a specialchair that would require 2 people to carry me up.

Dave; I was wondering why you hadn't posted on here in a long time. I hate to hear about your extensive injuries, but I'm glad your on the mend at home. Here's wishing you a complete recovery.
