Yea, that's exactly what I've heard on this board before (maybe from you?) & that's why I'm going....
But I thought all the tracks ran sprints too. Now I'll have to check....

I’m also looking forward to seeing the Silver Crown cars at Salem. Just need a change of scenery.

I haven’t abandoned dirt entirely. I plan to see a race at Millstream for the first time. Also W.A.R. at Belle-Clair sounds like it could be really interesting. And I’m hoping third time’s the charm for POWRi at Fairbury.
I spend the summers in Ct. & have always been curious about the super mods, but like I said, not a pavement fan. Usually something comes up on the weekends they're running.... so how are the car counts? Are the races usually competitive?

Just checked. Bloomington has wingless 410s as well as Racesaver. I'm happy.... planning on 1st 4 races, not sure about the weekend ones, other things to do on East Coast that weekend & I'll probably be feeling guilty about keeping poor old 93 yr. old Mom waiting....

Sorry about that, forgot about Bloom Town. Either way, I'm positive you'll enjoy it.

Not really anything out of the ordinary, With free USAC show the night before the Smackdown, that makes those 4 nights one of the better bargains. Also looking forward to midgetweek. Hard to beat Sprints and midgets, and with the addition of Montpelier, it makes a solid week even better. Another big one for me are the events leading up to the Indy 500. Terre Haute sprints, Hoosier Hundred, Carb day, Silver Crown at IRP, The Little 500, BC at The Indy 500, and Kokomo that night. Sprintweek is always a highlight.
The only bummer is not hitting the PA swing for the sprints or the midgets. Throw in a bunch of local shows and it sounds like a busy summer.
