I'm old enough that one thing I know....."regrets are usually for things not done."
Write about it, talk about it, "pray" about it....
I moved over half way across the country years ago with no job and no contacts, just a dream to be true to me, and have a wonderful, magical life today.

The silver lining to playing it safe is at least in "Canadia" you got plenty of hockey, the best sport that don't involve an engine

Look at the big picture. Do a lot of racing this year and potentially not race for a few years? or scale down and enjoy a part time schedule till things turn around for you.

I myself kept putting off the inevitable in a different motorsport and now have been stuck with not racing at all for a few years.

But I certainly understand the addiction.
