The "Triple Crown" is earned in USAC racing when a driver claims all three national championships (Silver Crown, Sprint Car, and Midget Car). Only two drivers, Tony Stewart (1995) and J.J. Yeley (2003), have achieved the triple crown in a single season. Three other drivers, Pancho Carter (1972–78), Dave Darland (1997–2001), and Jerry Coons, Jr. (2006–08), have claimed each of the three championships at least once in their careers. In 2012 Mike Curb and Cary Agajanian became the only car owners to win the Triple Crown by winning all three championships in the same year.

You're forgetting the latest one, Tracy Hines completed the trifecta by winning the midget title last week.

I guess I've been blessed to see all of them in their primes except Pancho who I only seen on TV in the Indy cars.
Except for Clauson is there anyone else even close to achieving this? Id love to see BC put the SC as priority but given he's already booked for next may........... A few running two classes, Who's left running all three that hasn't won the Triple crown? Its a awesome and I imagine very difficult feat to achieve given not many car owners run several classes or even both parts of the SC anymore. However they also had the Pavement in both Sprints and Midgets. Anyways, Big Congrats to Tracy and all the TC champs. Is USAC still doing a overall champion?

The "Triple Crown" comes from horse racing. The winner of three prestigious races in ONE year. Therefore in my opinion there are only TWO triple crown winners in USAC racing.
