I'll be heading out early from work to go to my favorite midget track on Friday. I am glad to be able to send Stephanie Meents a check for $700 that was raised by friends of former East Alton Fire Chief Randy Mortland.

Morty will be well remembered on this night......

The Belleville Chili Cook-Off will start at 11 am for anyone who might be in town early and want to eat before the races. It is on Main St about 9 blocks North of the track with about 40 different booths of chili to buy.

Everything is looking good for Friday night - don't let one class of modifieds stop you from coming out. The midget show alone is worth a visit to Belle-Clair Speedway!
