I have noticed in Paragon's results that they draw between 30-40 sprints on most weekends. Is it because all sprints run features? What is the draw to that track that they get that many cars on a regular basis? We've only been there once so we were just wondering.

Thanks,
Kevin

A lot of the guys running are on smaller budgets and new drivers getting laps. Paragon is not as hard on equipment as some of the other tracks. You know your gonna get at least a 100 bucks to start. That is the reason I run there weekly.

Honestly, that place is hard on right side tires. But other than that, it is a great place for rookies to get maximum seat time and the best overall payout throughout the field. Definitely a highly beneficial track to our sport.

Smooth consistent track each week and close to home for me. Easy on equipment and a lot of people there to have a good time. We won 3 features this year on the same RR tire.

Has not been hard on right side tires or any tires the past 2 seasons due to different type track prep

Could a steel block engine be competitive there?

A steel block engine could be competitive there. I haven't been there for a while, but as I recall there were several steel blocks there when I had been in the past. Not a high horsepower type track in my opinion. A good place to get seat time, and get laps in.
