Smackdown Question

Just saw on Twitter race time is 7pm. I'm headed over from Ohio, about 2 1/2 hour drive, and will be seriously challenged to get there at 7. What is the format? This racing starts at 7 seems unrealistic? Will they follow traditional USAC single car qualifying? If so, what time is hot laps?
Not looking for criticism here, just don't want to miss any of the amazing Kokomo heat races! |

I'm looking at their web page right now and it says wheel packing 545 hot laps and qualifying to follow and racing at 730. their are support divisions but I have no idea what order they race in. I am sure regulars know better but they are known for running efficient programs that get you out at a good time. so I bet they don't start late too often. just leaving Wisconsin for twice the drive hope to make hot laps. see you there

Schedule says wheel pack at 5:45 with hot laps and quals to follow. Nothing more specific than that.

This is a usac show so they should do hot laps then do single car qualifying. If we get 40 plus cars that'll take awhile. You should have time

KT jr fastest in hot laps followed by Brady bacon and Scotty weir. Weir pulled in halfway through his session. Took a rough hop in 3 would guess it popped out of gear. I'm no updates expert but if no one steps up I'll do my best. I don't see a thread for updates.

After 15 cars Cummins, ballou, Leary your top 3 in qualifying. Chris Phillips just took a nasty spill in 1.

Rolling the track in. If anyone doesn't know 43 cars tonight. Looks like after qualifying we will be down to 42. Not sure on Phillips status so I will not speculate. I didn't see but believe he walked to the ambulance. Hopefully these updates are helpful to some folks not here!
