It was a barnburner of a race.

Leary took the lead from his outside pole starting spot at the drop of the flag and was pulling away. While this was happening it was a free-for-all for 2nd between Dickie, Andretti and Moffatt. After a yellow for the stopped Matt Goodnight (I'm thinking lap 8) Moffatt was able to separate himself from the other two.

But Moffatt wasn't having much luck cutting into Leary's lead until around lap 15. From my vantage point it seemed he changed his line in turns 3 and 4, coming off of 4 a couple lanes lower. That seemed to make all the difference as he began to real in Leary. With only a few laps to go Moffatt caught Leary. With two to go both caught a lapper. He held no one up but Moffatt seemed to find a little better way around him and took the lead. Leary tried the crossover to regain the lead but it was too late. Moffatt was on his way to victory.

Dickie Gaines came home third and Garrett Abrams fourth. Without writing anything down I dare not go any further without the aid of Sandy Lowe.

The track took on rubber in the course of the feature but the track was plenty racey. The cushion was way high, only a foot or two away from the wall. Many were riding the cushion which was so high it would have made Don Branson proud. The only wall contact that I saw was 20 laps in when JT Stapp jumped it slightly, kissed the wall and got a little flare from the wheel contact. JT continued on unimpeded and finished well.

The Moffatt victory was one of the most popular with the fans, and a victory I will not soon forget. Joss gives his all and leaves everything on the track week after week. Joss was a little overcome by the win. Part of it was because it has been a while since he put it in the circle and the other part is because he was very appreciative of the ovation he was receiving from the crowd.

This is all I have.

Not many cars in Sprints and Mods. Still some good racing. On another note, Andretti spins with a lap or so to go. Hope the tide turns for this guy as he tends to turn em over more than most. He needs a win soon.

TWO Big races against it. Clash and Hewitt. Plus Boss in WV. Plymouth had ten with MTS and got poured on. Paragon I heard had close to 40.

Burg will start and pay 23 min of $225 I know some of the locals wanted the Hewitt and Tmez went and took it and still retained Burg Point lead. Simon as well who lost brakes and got 6th at the field.

Still sounds like it was a great show, wanted to go but things just aren't working out. Hope to make the Dick Gaines for sure.

One race on Sunday, None on Friday. I just don't get it. SIX TRACKS in one night peeps.

Can't we hold some of these big races say for Fridays in Sept? Two classes 8pm race time?
