The 2nd Annual Willard Bess memorial for 1000cc stock motor winged lightning sprints will be held on Sat night Aug 1st at Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury IL. This great race will pay $2000 to the winner and $100 to start the 22car 20 lap Feature event. The ILSS will be the host series and run their rules. The cars must run the Hoosier SP2 or SP3 on the RR of the car with no cockpit adjustable shocks and will go by the national weight rule of 940# with the driver after the race. There will be a $25 entry fee for non ILSS membbers.
