When TSS ran sprints and LM's every week - yes, just those two classes - in the '70's it was flat-out wild in both divisions. All the sprint car guys that we know and love were there and the LM guys included Tommy, Jim Scales, Ira Bastin, Kenny Simpson, Ray Godsey, Jim Waters, W.T. Harris, Don Turpen, Jim Curry, Jesse Ladd, Wayne Coakley, Fred Gerteisen and others with big hitters like Jerry Inmon from Mississippi showing up for big shows. You did not want to be late and miss a heat race back in the day.

All that I can say is that I have never seen a bad race at tss. Lol
