Kevin like the improvements you have made to the place everyone needs to go and support this track, dont listen to what others have said go see for yourself, wish rain would have held off
Live about an hour east of Louisville Ky. . Drove 31/2 hours to Chandler last nite, and was glad I did. Even through the races where rained out, I was very happy with what I saw. A very clean , country race track that looks like it would, and hopefully 1 day soon fun to race on. Look forward to the next sprint car show there. Tim
Kevin...............We were headed out the door to come support your track when the heavy rains came..............and It really would not matter which drivers they were either ........We will try again next time!
I went to the first show, and enjoyed it a lot. Was it the biggest field, no. Was it the best teams and drivers, no. What it is, is throwback to when we had a weekly local program in the area. I don't begrudge Tri-State Speedway going to a special only schedule like they did several years ago, but as an adverse effect of that I believe was the reduction of cars in southwestern Indiana. I personally like the format and purse structure, it gives some of the guys who don't have a shot against USAC competition a place to race and have a shot to win. Good luck to the crew at Chandler Motor Speedway and I hope to see this program grow just not too big.
We are in process on trying to work a few dates out for the sprint cars. With my schedule having many different varieties of specials, I need to schedule around, and other tracks, and series going, I need to work with. The drivers have let it be known that they want to run here and I will make every effort to make it happen. Stay in touch! Thanks CMS staff.
