Just saw on that new blogs Twitter about these races, must have missed it on here before.

How's the racing at this track? Never been but seen Kenny Wallace tweet about running modifieds there in the past.

It's an older facility, built in 1970, track has come a long way the past year and much more going on as we speak. We have great guys preparing the racing surface and have a racing surface that becomes black slick smooth before feature events. I had both Kenny Wallace and Kenny Schrader at the track last season. Wallace was there early in 2014 when track conditions was not at its best and schader was there later when things were better. Both have indicated they will return this season, date pending. Schader said it best, referring to the facility, "he said at least you can tell someone gives **** about this place." Left me feeling that I am doing something right.

Kevin, since the drag strip is not reopening this year, maybe you could get a package deal and run both facilities. The drag strip has been around since 1964, and with its closure the closest strip is at Lyons, IN. Maybe you could run it in your spare time.

Black, slick surface does not turn my crank. Thank you for the heads-up on that. I go to Salem for that.

Last time I went there was for a scora race and the track had a cushion up on the wall if I remember right. The racing actually wasn't half bad, if there's not a USAC or mscs race I might have to go check it out.

Don't be afraid to put the moisture in her, Kevin! I raced a T.Q. there in May of 2000, so looking forward to my first trip to Chandler in 15 years!

I was excited about going till I read this, non wings want tacky tracks, not slick where we abuse motors and burn $200 tires up in less than 20 laps.
